April 7th marked the 70th anniversary of world health day. This year World Health Day was celebrated under the
theme of Universal Health coverage for everyone, everywhere.
Ensuring all people have equal opportunities in accessing primary health care services that they need when they
need it, right in the heart of the community perfectly defines the theme for this year defined by the World Health
On this occasion, we at Gramin Healthcare proudly launched a week-long pan India World Health Day campaign from
7th to 13th April wherein we collaborated with our partners to provide best health care services in the underserved
communities of the country.
Gramin Health care was successful in reaching out to more than 2,500 lives in 7 states within a span of 7 days by
conducting more than 75 health camps.
Dabur, our Ayurvedic Medicine Partner provided us with Dabur medicines, which included pain relief oil for old
people, immunity boosters for children, liver tonics for men and women and sugar regulation medicines for diabetic
patients. We are chuffed to have rendered access to such quality products to more than 1500 families in the rural
areas of our country and introducing them to one of the best ayurvedic companies in India.
Gramin health care also united with its partner hospitals to deliver specialized services of Cardiologists,
Gynecologist and orthopaedist to the needful patients who visited the Gramin Healthcare Polyclinics throughout
the World Health Day campaign.
Gramin Health care along with IFFCO cooperatives also launched a customer engagement program during the week
in Karnal and Panipat Haryana. It is an initiative to provide access to primary health care services furnished by
Gramin Health care to all the IFFCO cooperative customers through Gramin Health cards delivered to their
Energizing workshops for Gramin Brand ambassadors were also conducted in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar that saw a
massive response. These workshops included the introduction of our brand ambassadors to Gramin health care model
and welcoming them on board.
Gramin health care centers saw patients coming in abundance for free doctor consultation and also enjoyed some
health awareness sessions that were conducted by our nurses and doctors. “Swasth Bharat, Swasth Kisan” slogans
were repeatedly heard throughout the week.
World Health Day campaign brought us one step closer to our aim of reaching to the roots of our nation.
